USES: 

Laundry detergent is primarily used for cleaning clothes, but it has a variety of other practical applications as well. Here are some common and creative uses:

• Laundry: The obvious one—detergent is designed to remove dirt, stains, and odors from fabrics when used in a washing machine or for hand-washing clothes.
• All-Purpose Cleaner: Diluted with water, it can clean surfaces like countertops, floors, or tiles. It’s great for cutting through grease, but test on a small area first to avoid damage.
• Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner: Mix a little detergent with water, dab it onto carpet stains, and blot with a clean cloth. Works well for oily or grimy spots.
• Sink or Tub Scrub: Combine detergent with baking soda to make a paste for scrubbing sinks, bathtubs, or showers to remove soap scum and grime.

Instructions for laundry :

• Use the cap to measure the gel.
• Dilute in a jug of warm water
• Small load (2-4 kg): 1 cup.
• Medium load (4-6 kg m): 2 cups.
• Large/heavily soiled load: 3 cups.

Top-loading machine: Start the water, pour the diluted gel into the drum or dispenser, then add clothes.

Front-loading machine: Pour the gel into the detergent drawer (usually marked with a “II” or flower symbol) before adding clothes to the drum.
Hand-washing: Dissolve 1 cup of gel in a jug of warm water, add to laundry bucket, then soak clothes.

Wash

• Select the appropriate cycle and water temperature:
• Cold (30°C or lower) for delicates or energy saving.
• Warm (40°C) for most clothes.
• Hot (60°C or higher) for whites or heavily soiled items (if fabric allows).
• Start the machine or agitate by hand for 5-10 minutes if hand-washing.

Rinse and Dry:

• Ensure all gel is rinsed out (extra rinse cycle if needed for hand-washing or sensitive skin).
• Dry clothes as usual—air-dry or use a dryer based on fabric care labels.

Tips:

• Pre-treat stains: Spray The Tallow Co.’s All Natural Heavy Duty Stain Remover directly onto stains, rub gently with a soft brush or fingers, and let sit for 5-10 minutes before washing.
• Avoid overuse: Too much gel can leave residue on clothes or in the machine.
• Storage: Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dry place, out of reach of kids or pets.
